Our Creator fearfully and wonderfully makes us. We can be healthy by simply preparing our meal with more fruits, grains, and vegetables, which was our original diet. In the Bible story of Daniel 1:8-21, we see the differences between Daniel’s plant diet and the king’s luxury meat diet. There was no comparison; the difference was like night and day. Those Hebrew boys were on cloud nine with their plant diet as compared to the children who ate the king’s luxury meat diet. According to research, we could live 7 to 15 years longer with a vegetarian diet.
By changing our course of living, eating, and drinking, we would see miraculous changes in our body, mind, and soul. We are very dear to God because He formed us in His image and likeness. We are required to do all that we can to preserve healthy bodies and sound minds. All that we need to preserve our body in the right frame, God’s hand has provided. We need to be aware of what we put into our stomach. Our physical health is safeguarded by that which we eat. We need to find the strength to deny the flesh of weakness and lust. God has given us clear instructions regarding our health. I am convinced that God gave us everything we need to keep our bodies healthy. We must take care of our body and keep it in the best possible condition.
Being a vegetarian is not only good for us, but it is also good for the environment.
