“Lucretius, the Roman philosopher and poet, expounded in his writings on the idea that the by-product of religion is fear of all that is mysterious in life and philosophy. In The Rabbit on the Roof, author Norman Ivory shows that nearly all of what is considered to be mystical or inexplicable in the areas of the mind and psychic phenomena is, in fact, ordinary, understandable, transparent, and accessible. Sharing many of his own psychic and mediumistic experiences, Ivory clarifies the mysterious in spiritual, religious, and human conditions.”

“In Queensland, two seemingly unconnected investigations are underway; a stalled search for a murderer by the state police and mysterious shipments of cement that have set bells ringing in the Australian Federal Police. As the events converge, a cattle property in the Central Queensland outback becomes the unlikely setting for a series of incidents that threaten Australia’s economy and national security. But these neighbours’ past and present activities could have implications that are not just local, but global.”

“Centuries ago ….. The Guardians would travel throughout time and eliminate the forces of evil that would stand in the way of all that was known to be good. In time the people slowly began to call them “The Dark Ones” because of the dark cloaks they wore. The ancient scrolls also spoke of how The Dark Ones evolved and became extinct. Centuries later a young farm boy named “Foo” set out on a dangerous quest to save his true love, and changed his destiny. This is a story taken from within the ancient scrolls of how..The Dark Ones became reborn…”

Rebirth of the Dark Ones
I was hoping to find a trustworthy team of people that would help me develop my book, and Stratton Press not only took their time to walk me all the way but went further by providing the editing, publishing and marketing side. They stood by my side through the arduous times and did not pressure me when I was not in a mood, but persevering we did. I would recommend Stratton Press for being a good caring publishing company and the best team of professionals I grew to love and admire. I love you guys and always will.
Love Me Now & Forever
I really appreciated the way your organization has helped me as a writer to have a finished product with my book. It was really helpful to work with the company which not only provided great suggestions but also was considerate regarding my ideas and vision. I am grateful that such a difficult journey for others was a less stressful process for me.
How the Tiniest Can Be Stronger Than the Most Ferocious
Stratton Press have a done a great job reviewing, editing and republishing my first book, Steinman (does evil have a nemesis). The publishing process in regards to the books content, layout, cover design, and pricing to market has been superb. They said they could improve on the first iteration and its covers - they did and the design team made it it easy for me to work with them. Stratton promised to improve the editing - they did with excellent feedback throughout. The price of my 1st addition, through another publisher was $34. Whereas, Stratton published for $16.99. That's a no-brainer on its own, as there is no point in a new writer trying to sell a book that is beyond the value to the customer. My second book in the series, The Alsatians, is with Stratton Press for publishing in the late autumn, and I look forward to many more books published through this terrific indie publisher.
When I was first in conversation with Stratton Press, I was impressed by the concept of a hybrid press and encouraged by the opportunity to publish a book that could be both available and affordable to readers. Stratton Press paves the way for the author to do that. I appreciated the careful, caring, and precise editorial artistry of Angela James. The Editor scrutinized the manuscript and offered insightful correctives. Because of her empathy, I felt that she understood all that I was trying to say and helped me to say it better. Stratton Press has taken the rough road to publication and smoothed it out. As an author, I feel grateful to each and every member of their team. It's almost like being part of a family.
